I am a community builder, entrepreneur, expat, and strategist. My career spans agencies, corporate, entrepreneurship, and media.
I started in radio advertising sales at Clear Channel Communications (now iHeart Radio) then media buying at an advertising agency, where I was honored as the Best Negotiator for securing best rates and deals for clients.
From there, I moved into corporate program management where I honed skills in business development and strategic planning. Throughout my career - I have developed company-wide training programs, implemented backend workflows to improve operations, and spearheaded technology transitions - including launching a digital training platform that saved $355K USD annually.
After a corporate layoff in 2016, I realized it was time to break out of the so-called “box” and design a life that felt more free. That decision led me to my life-changing move to Thailand, which was also my first trip abroad.
At the time, I didn't know much about Southeast Asia or have any examples of people in my life who had made a leap across the world. While packing for my move, I started an employee resource group for foreigners onboarding at the Thai company I was hired at (so that me and others moving abroad for the first time felt supported and would actually go through with the move). I also launched a meetup group for Black expats that has evolved into destination and relocation services.
Overall, I specialize in maximizing resources so we can be our best selves.
